What exactly is Thailand Elite?
Thailand Elite (Thailand Privilege Visa) is the long-stay programme operated by Thailand Privilege Card, a state agency under the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Members receive a 5- to 20-year multi-entry visa plus VIP airport, concierge and lifestyle privileges.
Do I pay anything before I'm approved?
No. The membership fee is invoiced only after the Thai Immigration Bureau approves your application. Applying through us, an authorized GSSA, costs nothing above the official fee.
How long does approval take?
Usually 4 to 6 weeks, and 6 to 8 weeks for naturalised applicants. Your advisor keeps you informed at every stage.
Can I apply if I already live in Thailand?
Yes. You can apply online from Thailand, and once approved your visa can be issued at the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok — no need to leave the country.
Is there an annual fee or renewal cost?
No. It is a one-time fee for the whole membership period. Each entry gives you a stay of up to one year, which can be extended in Thailand while your membership is valid.
Can my family join?
Yes. Spouse, children and parents can join Platinum, Diamond and Reserve with their own visa and privileges, at ฿750,000 per person until 31 December 2026. Bronze and Gold are individual memberships.
Can I work in Thailand with this visa?
The visa does not include a work permit. Working for a Thai employer requires a separate work permit — your advisor can explain the options.
Do I still need to do 90-day reporting?
Yes, if you stay more than 90 consecutive days — as for every foreign resident. Members can use the programme's assistance services for it.
